For the Preservica CE system the following password retry policy applies:
- After 3 failed attempts you are locked out for 5 minutes
- After 5 minutes you get 3 more attempts, this will repeat until successful
- You will not get an extra 3 attempts until you have 3 failures, no matter what the time lapse is between them.
